STUDENT EMPLOYMENT

Every year, through various government programs, the Village of Balmoral hires a number of students. Any student currently attending a secondary school or post-secondary institution who wishes to apply for a summer job may send his résumé to the city council, before March 30. The résumé should contain the following information: Surname and name, postal address, telephone number, dates available (from….
to …), name of the school the student plans to attend for the following year, work experience, community involvement, etc.

BURSARIES

Each year, the Village of Balmoral awards two $200 bursaries to one boy and one girl who are secondary school graduates and who reside in Balmoral. These are awarded by random draw. To be eligible for the draw, the student must fill out and return the form available at the municipal office before May 31.
